Around 3000 were made over its twenty year production. In 1987 CWC were asked to produce a different spec dive watch specifically for the SBS. The watch spec was different to the regular RND (Royal Navy Diver) produced. This example from 2004, comes from the first year CWC made an identical watch specifically for the civilian market, hence the C before the watch number.
